After one of the dumbest days in U.S. history as Donald Trump was indicted for non-sense crimes, I had some individuals who didn't like that I had criticisms of Trump and select conservatives who literally analogized him to being like Jesus, MLK and Mandela.
Just because we’re on a “team” doesn’t mean criticism should be withheld. In fact, I’m probably harder on “my people” than the other side bc I expect more from those whom I choose as representatives.
Oh my goodness the imagery of Jesus, MLK and Mandela with Trump. That seems like something that should be on a black velvet canvas along with dogs playing poker. I certainly miss Trump's presidency but not his childish narcissism. Luckily there are some very interesting candidates that are running. I feel like some grown-ups have joined the room.
The person who promised to unsubscribe does not want to read opinions he or she doesn't like. That's a common problem with too many people and will not lead to anything good.
Why are you so self possessed? Imo, it's rather narcissistic & boring. Why not just be an authentic person, discuss your perspective on topics you feel have an impact, whether it's 'gun control', 'environmentalism', etc., rather than focus on what what someone else thinks of you?
